An integrated approach to health and social care services: the Commonwell project

Across Europe, providing health and social care services is becoming increasingly complex and costly. An ageing population, a multitude of public, private and informal actors, together with a myriad of eHealth systems and technologies create numerous hurdles to offering efficient and cost-effective care. A team of EU-funded researchers and practitioners are helping to get these services off the ground.

Palante midterm Conference: Addressing eHealth innovation challenges - empowering patients

The Palante midterm conference will take place on November 6th 2013 at the Committee of the Regions in Brussels. Purpose: to share lessons around the implementation of eHealth pilots, including the active involvement and roles of patients and health professionals. In terms of its focus it will be a working conference aimed at learning through exchange.
