FICHe open call attracts over 300 European eHealth SMEs and startups

A total of 308 European eHealth SMEs and startups were attracted by the Future Internet CHallenge eHealth (FICHe) accelerator, co-funded by the EU. Top three countries are Spain (68 applications), Finland (60 applications), and Netherlands (48 applications). Each of the applicants has the chance to receive up to €217.000 in funding to speed up their process to go from idea to market.

Trillium Bridge project tests the Transatlantic Interoperability Bridge

During a live demonstration in Boston (US), experts from the Trillium Bridge project proved it is technically feasible to exchange Electronic Health Record (EHR) data between the European Union and the United States. This means that in theory it is possible for a local treating physician, provided the patient has given his or her consent, to request and access an EHR patient summary from the patient's provider across the Atlantic.

eHealth Network adopts guidelines ePrescriptions

At the 6th meeting of the eHealth Network, guidelines on electronic prescriptions for the purpose of interoperability between Member States were adopted.

SUPERHUB European Conference on Smart Mobility in Changing Cities

This is the final event of the FP7 EU funded project SUPERHUB. The Conference will showcase the open platform to provide European citizens with real-time information, journey options and advice on the best ways to move around in urban settings, considering the individuals' needs, the traffic conditions and the CO2 emissions.
