Together for more Healthy Life Years (HLYs)

The Conclusions of the European Summit on Innovation for Active and Healthy Ageing have just been published by the European Commission (EC). The report is based on the feedback received from the many participants, and organized in a set of actions that the EC will pursue jointly with interested stakeholders in the coming 18 months.

May infringements package: main decisions

In its monthly package of infringement decisions, the European Commission is pursuing several legal actions against Member States for failing to comply properly with their obligations under EU law. These decisions covering many sectors aim to ensure proper application of EU law for the benefit of citizens and businesses.

mHealth Green Paper: Next steps

To follow up on the mHealth Green Paper, the European Commission has started paving the way for an industry-led Code of Conduct for mobile health apps. This initiative was presented during an mHealth stakeholder meeting at eHealth Week 2015. Find the results and polls of this meeting here.

What happened at eHealth Week 2015?

A total of 1334 eHealth experts and 81 exhibitors from across Europe gathered in Riga to exchange knowledge and share best practices as part of the annual eHealth Week conference and exhibition. The presentation slides, photo's and Commissioner Andriukaitis' speech are now available.
