Final conference of the SmartCare project

For more than three years, 23 regions and a total of 42 partner organisations have worked towards making ICT-supported integrated care a reality in Europe and beyond. At the end of this EU-funded project and at a point in time where key decisions about the mainstreaming of innovative services are being taken, the project will share the results of the work and discuss them in the wider context of care integration.

eHealth system for support in diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer

The newly launched Horizon 2020 DESIREE project will provide a decision support system that predicts the evolution of breast cancer case by case. If successful, it will be used in Breast Units to apply specific therapies for each patient depending on the diagnosis.

ISA² - Interoperability Solutions for European Public Administrations: first work programme adopted

On 19 April 2016, the College of Commissioners of the European Commission adopted the first work programme under the new ISA² programme. The EUR 131 million programme, which runs from 2016 to 2020, supports the development of interoperability solutions for the modernisation of public administrations across Europe.
