Staff Working Document: Report on the public consultation and other consultation activities for the preparation of the EU Cybersecurity cPPP

The Commission has consulted stakeholders on the areas of work of the future cybersecurity contractual Public-Private Partnership (cPPP) and also called for contributions on potential additional policy measures that could stimulate cybersecurity industry in the EU. The Commission launched an online public consultation on 18 December 2015 for 12 weeks. The European Commission along with the European Union Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA) organised various workshops with stakeholders. This Staff Working Document reports on those engagement activities.

The public consultation on the contractual Public Private Partnership on cybersecurity and possible accompanying measures took place from 18 December 2015 to 11 March 2016. This note takes stock of the submitted contributions and trends that emerge from them, focusing primarily on the quantitative analysis of the responses.
