Emerging Topics and Technology Roadmap for ICT for Water Management - August 2016

Climate change, increased urbanization and increased world population are several of the factors driving global challenges for water management. This roadmap was finalised by the European Commission in August 2016, with inputs gathered from 20 FP7/H2020 research projects -grouped in the ICT4Water cluster- and taking into account other relevant reports.

Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) Telecom: over €28 million to foster the European digital service ecosystem

Today the European Commission is taking further action to stimulate the deployment and support of European Digital Service Infrastructures (DSIs) in Europe by launching two sets of calls for proposals of Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) endowed with more than €28 million.


Empattics procurers launch open market consultation for upcoming PCP

The Galicia and Aragon public health care authority (ES), the Central Denmark region (DK) and the Service Numerique de Santé (FR) invite potentially interested bidders to participate in the open market consultation for their upcoming Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP) on new ICT solutions that can empower patients with chronic diseases as decision makers in the treatment of their illness. The open market consultation meetings take place in Copenhagen (9 November), Paris (11 November) and Santiago de Compostela (15 November) and Zaragoza (18 November).


LEOS – drafting legislative texts made easy

Drafting new legislation is a complex and time-consuming process, involving many actors. This process, with increasing pan-European dimensions, can be made easier with LEOS, a free tool that facilitates the editing/reviewing process and generates legislation in a format supporting interoperability between European Institutions. LEOS enables users to create and draft legislative acts via a web user interface, where the document content is stored in an XML format.
